Yves Saint Laurent was the designer that hooked me to fashion. I remember reading a book about his life in eleventh grade. I should have been paying attention to chemistry. instead i was mesmerized by the story of a man who dedicated his life to making beautiful clothing. timeless pieces. despite politics. tragedy. moving. the entire whirlwind. so yeah i'm crying. but i've lost something that i can't describe.
